 1. Gisou Hair Oil

Shop Gisou Oil here.
Trust me when I say, I’ve used many hair oils… this is by far the best! It has literally saved my hair from having split ends. I try not to apply too much heat to my hair to begin with. I already have naturally curly hair, so I really only curl some pieces to make it look more uniform overall. After everything is nice and curled, I’ll take a few drops of this oil and rub it into my hair, breaking the curls apart. The Gisou Oil makes my hair so bouncy and shiny, its unreal. Not to mention it’s Negin Mirsalehi’s hair product and who doesn’t want hair like hers?!

2. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis, sometimes I honestly only put concealer on and walk out the door. Most days though, when I want to look put together I’ll put this tinted moisturizer on. As you can see, It evens out my complexion and still lets my skin breathe. There is nothing I hate more than feeling like you have layers on top of layers on your face. Not about that life. It also has the perfect finish for my skin type. I recently am getting off of Accutane, so my skin is neither oily nor dry right now. I used to be super oily though, and I would still wear this with no problem! I wear the shade St. Moritz and although it looks a bit orange when it comes out of the bottle, it blends in really well with my natural color. It’s like a hair darker than my face, which I like, I never leave the house without wearing SPF 55 so my face is lighter than the rest of my body. This color adds life back into my face.
P.S. do you see the shine in my hair? That’s the oil doing its thing!

3. Must Have Concealers

Everyone and their mother has talked about the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I use the shade “Custard” which has an amazing yellow tone that does wonders to brighten up the eye. Once this concealer sets, it does not budge. Like at all. I have even cried with this on and it was still on after. It doesn’t even need to be set with powder. You can definitely set it, I just find that sometimes this one can be drying on me depending on how my under eyes are feeling that day. The shade range is amazing as well, you’re bound to find a color that suits you! I love applying this with a beauty blender for a little dewier finish, but if I’m looking for it to be more full coverage then my finger does the trick
The Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch Concealer is definitely a mouthful for such a tiny little product. I alternate between the two concealers because sometimes the NARS one gets too drying on me. This Giorgio Armani one NEVER gets cakey and completely melts into your skin. It blends beautifully, I either use my finger or a fluffy concealer brush to buff it out. A sponge would definitely just soak the product right up. Every time I have this on my under eyes look so fresh! It has such a beautiful luminosity to it. The only downside is the shade range. There are only 6 shades that range from 1 to 4.5. I use two shades, 3 and 3.5. I really like using the darker shade first to conceal the dark circles, then using the lighter one just at the darkest part under my eye so that it brightens everything up. Considering it only goes up to 4.5 I know it’s definitely going to be harder for some of you to find a shade.

4. NARS Pore & Shine Control Primer

I know what you’re thinking right now… no this is not an Ad for NARS. I just really believe that certain products from the same brand work well together. I used to never wear any primer because I’m lazy and I didn’t want to deal with the extra step. I can totally notice a difference when I wear this though! My makeup goes on so much smoother, and my face looks like baby skin! Don’t be afraid of the name, it’s not a drying product at all! Like I said, I have pretty normal skin right now, but sometimes it leans more to the drier side. I have never had an issue with this!

5. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

This setting powder actually brightens the area that I place it on. I usually only use this on my under eyes, if needed, and sometimes in my t-zone. I got it in a little mini size because using a little bit of this goes such a long way! I’ve had it for so long and it is still basically full. The color is translucent, but it has a hint of a yellow undertone to it, which is why I think it brightens everything so well. Laura Mercier has two loose powders, this and the Secret Brightening one. I’m not a fan of that one at all because it is a pure white powder color. It looked like it left a white cast everywhere I applied it to.

6. L’Oreal Lash Paradise

So I’m going to be completely honest here… if you know me then you’ll know I was originally attracted to this mascara because of the pink tube. I am glad that I tried this out though because I love it!! I already have dark, long lashes so I love a good volumizing mascara that will give me some length as well. This mascara does just that. A lot of YouTubers have claimed that it is a dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, I’ve never tried the Too Faced one but it seems to be a fan favorite. I love everything about the Lash Paradise except for the fact that when I’m wearing it for a long time it can tend to flake. That’s the only downside! I also love the Covergirl Lashblast Volume in the orange tube, but I haven’t used that one in a while. If anyone has any good mascara recommendations that you think I would like then please let me know!

7. Eyelash Curler

This is probably the most used beauty item I have ever owned. I curl my lashes every single day, even when I’m not wearing any mascara or wearing any makeup at all. This curler is perfect for my eye shape, it has never pinched me and it gets every lash! Even those stubborn ones at the end. I have had this tool for years and its still going strong!

8. Bronzer and Blush

I put this step last because this isn’t something I do everyday. My cheeks naturally have a little flush to them, so adding extra color isn’t really necessary for me. Although when I do wear bronzer and blush I tend to gravitate towards the same ones. I love the NARS Laguna bronzer (surprise, surprise), it has the perfect amount of sheen to it so it really does make you look like you just came back from laying on a tropical beach all week.
I have about 6 different Tarte blush pans in my makeup vanity, not including my holiday blush palette. They last forever on my skin and they have such beautiful shades! There is no doubt that you won’t find one that suits you. My favorite two that I alternate between are Captivating, a light pale peach, and Sensual, the perfect nude blush.

What’s all the fuss with that Gisou oil ? I see everyone talking about it. Do I have to try it ? Am I crazy not to ?

I love it. It’s the only oil that I can apply in my hair when it’s dry and it doesn’t make it look gross and oily. I curl my hair like 2-3 a week and my ends are neverrrrr dead, I think the oil is responsible for that.
