Roses are Red

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Here’s the perfect way to style your favorite red sweater three different ways.

Outfit #1: Comfy and Casual

Shop the look: Red Sweater from Zara is no longer available but you can do this with any red sweater! Here are some similar ones, option one  and option two.

Red is such a classic Valentine’s Day color and it looks great on almost everybody! This outfit is perfect for going to a friend’s house, staying in, or even a cute little movie/dinner date. Of course it is more casual, but pairing these mules with the outfit add a little something extra. These shoes are great because they can be worn dressed up or down plus they come in tons of colors and designs so you are bound to find one that is perfect for you. They’re also perfect for that typical LA weather when you’re not sure whether sandals or booties are the way to go. Let’s be real people…. daily LA struggle am I right? These jeans are my ABSOLUTE favorite. Being a girl shorter than 5 feet has its perks, but also has a down side…. are you never able to find the perfect pair of jeans that hit you right at your ankle? Well get excited because the Topshop Petite section has got you completely covered. I have them in every color with and without rips!

Outfit #2: White in the Winter

White boots are actually becoming a thing. At first, I honestly didn’t really know how I felt about it, but the more I saw them the more I liked them. I think it all comes down to finding your perfect pair. I didn’t want mine to be too out there, because I knew it was going to be a little harder for me to incorporate into an outfit. I wanted something that would be easy to just throw on with any outfit, that way I can get the most use out of them. I was so excited to find this pair! They are from Steve Madden as well, in the style Cafe. At the moment I am also loving this pair from Topshop as well as these from Asos. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, definitely give the white boot a shot! Jeans are the same as the other outfit just in black.

Outfit #3: Flirty and Feminine

Those girls who love to dress up, this one’s for you! Escalate your look by throwing a flirty little skirt into the mix. You can totally pair this look with some heels, but I decided to pair it with booties. This look is super fun because you get to be super comfy and cozy on top, and then dressy from the waist down. That’s why I love sweaters like this, so versatile!! I bought this skirt from Zara so long ago, but honestly any black skirt can work. Try it with a mini pencil skirt and some knee high boots! Experimenting is what makes fashion so fun!

The Details

I have been LOVING this Cluse watch, so plain and simple for everyday wear. The best thing about these watches is that you can buy different straps and interchange them! The Rose Gold is perfect for dressing up or down. My necklaces are from a local flea market but you can find similar ones on Etsy. These dainty necklaces can be layered or worn on their own. They are so amazing when trying to jazz up a t-shirt & jeans without trying too hard.
